If
your package holiday turns into the holiday from hell,
the following will stand you in good stead for pursuing a claim
upon your return.
1. Register your complaint in writing with the
Tour Operators representative and the Hotel and ensure that you
retain a copy of the complaint.
2. Prepare a detailed diary listing everything
that went wrong and when it went wrong.
3. Get the names and addresses of other holidaymakers
who were also dissatisfied.
4. Take photographic or video evidence to support
your case.
5. Keep all receipts for expenses incurred and
retain a copy of the brochure through which you booked the holiday
if your complaint is about the holiday or resort.
