Our personal injury department has expert knowledge of the law relating to accident claims and provides an approachable and friendly service to all of its clients. We pride ourselves in leaving no stone unturned when it comes to investigating the issues of fault and quantification of a claim.

Initial interviews are carried out upon a "free" basis and if necessary hospital and/or home visits can be arranged. Funding for the further investigations into the case will be discussed at this initial interview and we regularly carry out work with Legal Costs Insurance companies and on conditional fee agreements known as "No Win – No Cost".

Our solicitors and litigation assistants regularly deal with cases in the following areas:

• Road Traffic Accidents, including cases involving the Motor Insurers Bureau where a third party is untraceable or is uninsured.
• Occupier’s Liability claims whether against shops, schools and colleges, contractors as site occupiers, clubs, garages, neighbours, landlords, hospitals or holiday camps.
• Industrial Disease claims including those relating to the exposure to asbestos (pleural plaques, asbestosis, mesothelioma), industrial deafness asthma and dermatitis.

These can relate to breaches of statutory requirements for the provision of a safe place and system of work and include, falls from roofs and scaffolding, crushing and trapping injuries caused by machinery, repetitive strain injuries and those from falling/projecting objects, lifting injuries, tripping claims, burns, forklift truck accidents
• Highway Authority and Public Utility claims arising out of defective pavements/roads, construction works, slipping on ice.
• Product Liability claims under the Consumer Protection legislation against drug companies and manufacturers of defective goods.
• Private Individual liability including those involving dangerous or uncontrolled animals, assaults in the home and workplace.
• Clinical Negligence claims against NHS Trusts, private medical practitioners, nurses/midwifes, General Practitioners etc.
• Criminal Injury Compensation Authority claims arising out of injuries caused through the criminal acts of third parties including fatalities, serious head injuries, and sexual assaults/abuse.
