of the podcast is below.
"Hello. My name is Caroline
Gibbs. I am a solicitor in dgb's property team. Thank you for taking
the time to hear how dgb can help you with the sale of your home.
So what is a home information
pack or a HIP as they are more commonly known? Well, it is a collection
of legal documents about your home which must be available to
a buyer before you can put the property on the market for sale.
Using the latest technology, and
together with the Law Society, dgb are able to offer you a wide
variety of HIPs to suit your needs. Whilst dgb's HIPs may not
be the cheapest, they have been developed to maximise the potential
for you to sell your home more quickly as they will contain the
majority of the information that a buyer would need about your
home before deciding to buy it.
Posted on this website, dgb have
prepared some frequently asked questions about HIPs which I hope
you will read with interest. You can also download a sample HIP
to see what one will look like.
I, along with my colleagues in
the property department are happy to talk with you about HIPs
or dgb's legal services should you have any further questions.
Our contact details are available on this website.
I look forward to hearing from
you and thanks again for listening".
